ENTERTAINMENT: Unique Movie Premiere with Style!

Ever attended a Movie Premiere where the director is himself the host and organizes everything from scratch. In a limited time, Its always difficult but Director Varun Mehta believes in taking challenges and gets successful in tackling them. Not only did he complete a long movie of 1 hour 5 minutes all by himself on time but also he organized the movie premiere successfully.

The premiere of the wonder stone happened at Aligarh City on 28th December 2011. The cast and the crew alongwith their guardians came to grace the event along with media persons. Varun’s high school teachers came to bless him and were astonished with the way he had progressed. Animation Institute like MAAC also attended the premiere with high spirits appreciating the children and their talents.

2011 saw a lots of children’s movies making waves. Stanley kaDabba, Chillar Party, Ra.one all did well at the box office. When we asked Varun about the growing number of children movies. He replied –‘I am very happy with this progress, people should not care about the result and should make movies on children more and more. I liked Ra.one as it had Great Visual Effects and animation But I would be much happy if the film had been message oriented as it was promoted as a children’s movie.

The Wonder Stone’s story is about an alien stone that comes to earth with gifted superpowers and gives it to 6 ordinary children. What follows next is the series of action, adventure and a message at the end. The film was recently screened at ‘International Children’s Film Festival at Chennai’.

Film ‘The Wonder Stone’ directed by Varun Mehta finally saw its premiere on 28th December 2011 at Shakti Nagar, Aligarh. The Movie has been in news for portraying a strong story based on Children with universal appeal. The film talks about an alien stone that gets discovered by some children and they get super human abilities from it. Some of them gets confused either to use them or not, some are frustrated with the changes, and some uses them in a bad way. But ultimately, the motive comes out that the stone was actually guiding them towards saving the planet.
